This post exists to show what the new element kit can do inside an ordinary Boostbery article. Every component below is a real block you can pick from the editor under Boostbery elements, and every one has a shortcode twin for classic content. Nothing here touched the theme.
Ordinary lists and tables get a tidy-up too. A plain bulleted list now indents properly with a branded marker:
- Plain bullets indent and use the brand colour for the marker
- Nested lists keep their rhythm
- like this second level
- Numbered lists get bold brand-coloured numbers
- Decide the future of the source URL
- Check the destination continues the task
- Test the live response, not the admin screen
TL;DR
- Fourteen branded elements, an author box and a post-only CSS override, all editable via the REST API.
- Blocks render on the server, so their HTML can change later without editing a single post.
- Everything is scoped to blog posts: service pages, case studies and the homepage are untouched.
Editorial elements
These carry the argument of a piece: the claim you want quoted, the choice you want the reader to make, the process you want them to follow.
AI search does not reward the loudest brand. It rewards the one an engine can resolve, retrieve and trust.
Do
- Write the sentence an engine can lift cleanly
- Keep every proof point inside its own lane
- Measure enquiries, not mentions
Don't
- Chase the AI click before the choice it frames
- Promise citations nobody can guarantee
- Let three tools disagree about what your brand is
How we run an AI search audit
- Resolve
Can ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity describe the business correctly without prompting?
- Retrieve
Which pages get pulled into answers, and which never surface?
- Trust
What evidence does the engine cite when it names you, and where does it break?
- Act
A ranked fix list tied to a buying decision, not a visibility score.
Coloured tick lists
The tick list element takes a colour and an icon per list, and a “Term: text” line makes the term bold. Teal ticks, pink arrows in two columns, amber dots, and a grey cross list for the things to avoid:
Proof elements
Numbers, voices and badges, styled so they feel like part of the article rather than a sales insert.
They found the emitting layer in an afternoon and fixed the release process, not just the tag. Our pages came back and stayed back.

For the parts of an article that are really a diagram: sequences, checklists, hierarchies and offers.
- Day 0Tag appears
A staging setting is copied to production during a release.
- Day 3Impressions fall
Google processes the exclusion; commercial pages drop out.
- Day 4Source repaired
Template fixed, live response verified, recrawl requested.

More from the component library
Nine further components adapted from the sussexseo.net element library, restyled for Boostbery: cards in four tones, fit cards, an expertise band, a risk-reversal bar, beat lines, a CSS bar chart, a horizontal timeline, chips and a section head.
What we do
AI visibility: be the source engines cite
A structured programme to build the entity, content and signal that AI search engines need to name you in the answer.
What you get
One senior pair of hands
You speak to the person doing the work.
Shows its work
Every claim sourced or marked as unverified.
Method, not magic
Method and trend, never guarantees.
The site is the proof
Built to the standard we sell.
Built-in measurement
Citation share tracked over time.
You own everything
Every account stays in your name.
Sound familiar?
A rival gets recommended
Buyers ask for "best X" and a competitor is named.
Flat organic, sliding demos
Content feeds an answer box you are not cited in.
Three doors
A fit if you…
- Sell a considered B2B purchase
- Want a defensible channel
- Can sign off proof about your own business
Not a fit if you…
- Want guaranteed #1 placements
- Are shopping purely on price
The page still ranks.
That is click displacement.
Diagnose first. Rebuild second. Stop guessing.

Author boxes
Every post gets an author box automatically, following whoever is set as the post author. A box can also be placed manually anywhere and pointed at a different person by user ID. This one is David Taplin:
And this is Jack, the author of this post, placed manually here as well:
FAQ accordions
Two options. The native kit accordion below needs no JavaScript and emits FAQPage schema. Below it, the Yoast FAQ block inside a dark band, the pattern used on the service pages.
Good to know
Do the elements work in classic (non-block) posts?
Yes. Every element has a shortcode twin, for example bby_faq in square brackets, so plain-text content can use them too.
Can the design be changed later without editing posts?
Yes. Blocks render on the server from HTML templates that are editable through the REST API, and a post-only stylesheet override can restyle anything.
Does any of this touch the theme?
No. The kit is a must-use plugin. Delete two paths and it is gone.
Also available
Yoast FAQ block
Use the kit accordion for articles. Use the Yoast block when you want Yoast to manage the schema alongside the rest of its graph.
Yes. Avoid using both on the same post so the page carries one FAQPage entity.
The theme styles still work alongside them
The kit sits next to the block styles the theme already ships, so a normal article can mix both.
| Element | Best used for | Also a shortcode |
|---|---|---|
| TL;DR strip | Top of long guides | [bby_tldr] |
| Key claim line | The sentence you want quoted | [bby_keyline] |
| Gate rows | Pass / fail checklists | [bby_gates] |
| CTA band | End of every article | [bby_cta_band] |
My rule
I use a Different-Decision Test: remove the place names and compare what remains. If the proposition, evidence and action match an existing page, the new page is a merge candidate, not a URL.
Shortcodes, for classic content
The same elements written as shortcodes. Useful for content that arrives as plain text, or for anyone who prefers typing to clicking.
A citation you cannot explain is a citation you cannot keep.
